Filed a rape case against her husband: In 2022, she filed a rape case against her husband, Vikas Malu. She claimed that before her marriage, she was raped by Vikas Malu and later he forced her to marry him.She also claimed that after her marriage, Vineet Malu, son of Vikas Malu’s first wife, who was an adolescent at that time, also started raping her after which she left Vikas’s home.
Filed a murder case against her husband: Saanvi Malu filed a murder case against her husband, Vikas Malu, after the death of the Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik. She claimed that Satish Kaushik once lend an amount of Rs 15 Crore to her husband for business investment which he lost due to the failure of his business during COVID-19 pandemic. She revealed in an interview that her husband and Satish Kaushik had an argument over this matter on 23 August 2022. She said that at that time Vikas Malu was planning to kill the actor by giving him some blue pills. She further said that Vikas Malu organised a party at his farmhouse for Holi celebration where Satish Kaushik was also present. She claimed that after the death of the actor, Malu’s farmhousewas investigated and some objectionable medicines were also found from there. However, Vikas Malu denied all the allegations made by Saanvi Malu and asserted that he and Satish Kaushik were family friends and there were no financial dealings between them.
However, Shashi Kaushik, Satish Kaushik’s wife, later responded on Saanv’s complaint and call her allegations against Vikas Malu ‘baseless.’ In an interview, Shashi Kaushik clarified that her husband had no financial transactions with Vikas Malu. She also clarified that her husband died due to cardiac arrest. She said that according to the post-mortem reports of her husband, there were no drugs in his samples; rather, he had 98% of coronary artery blockage. In the interview, she said that Saanvi was defaming Satish Kaushik for her own benefit.
