SSB Head Constable Eligibility Criteria 2023
The candidates who are applying should fall under the eligibility criteria as per the official notification. Let us explain to you what the eligibility criteria are.
The criteria are categorized into 3 parts. These 3 categories are Educational Requirements, Age Requirements and Skill Requirements.

- Educational Requirements
- The only Educational requirement needed to apply for the SSB Head Constable Exam is that the candidate applying for the exam should have a 12th pass certificate from a recognized board.
- Age Requirements
- The age of the candidates applying should be from 18 years to 25 years of age and class 10th certificate will be admissible as proof of date of birth.
- Relaxation would be provided to the candidates belonging in the reserved category in the upper class age limit for the exam.
- Skill Requirements
- Since it is a Ministerial Group C post, applicants should have sufficient computer knowledge and therefore should also be able to type 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi.
