IBPS RRB Application form 2023

Even though the application form would only be out by mid-June, we will make it easier for the candidates who are applying by explain to them what all are necessary and how to complete the application form based on last year. Follow these steps to fill out the application form:

Step 1: Registration 

  1. Go to the Official website.
  2. Click on the new registration link.
  3. Enter your details such as Name, phone Number, e-mail ID and Security Code for the IBPS RRB registration.
  4. After submitting the above mentioned details, you will have a new id and password generated by the site and it will also be sent to your respective email ID and Mobile Number. (Make sure you note down the ID and Password somewhere safe)

Step 2: Filling in the details on the application form.

  1. Enter your basic details such as the category, nationality, personal details, select exam centers, date of birth, gender, father’s name or mother’s name, address, etc. 
  2. After completed filling the above mentioned details, candidates must now fill in other details such as Educational Qualifications, Work Experience and Languages.
  3. In the Final page of step 2, candidates must choose their preferred banking option and details.

Step 3: Uploading of Documents

The candidates applying need to upload certain documents such as scanned images of photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the requirements give below.

Step 4: Preview

Before the candidates submit their documents, they must make sure that the details filled in by them are 100% accurate and that there are no mistakes.

Like all the other examinations, IBPS exams also have a registration fees.

The IBPS RRB Selection Process is of 3 main stages. We will be explaining about them in the paragraph down below:

The 3 main stages are 

IBPS Preliminary Exam

The exam would be conducted before the main exam and this would be for the people applying for the Office Assistant and Office cadre I Post.

There will be 80 questions for 80 marks with a 45 minute time to answer them.

Then there would be another 40 questions from reasoning and another 40 from Numerical Ability and another 40 from Quantitative Aptitude for the Officer Scale I.

IBPS RRB Main Exam

These exams will be on 200 marks and will consist of 5 sections such as English/Hindi, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, Financial Knowledge and Professional Knowledge as per the post the candidate is applying for.

Candidates are short listed for the final round of interview depending on the marks that they have scored.

IBPS RRB Interview Round

Any candidates who clear the previous mentioned rounds are eligible for the final round of interview.

The minimum score needed is 40% just like every other exam.

The ratio based on the selection of candidates is 80:20 of mains and interviews.

Candidates who pass the interview are then selected for the Provisional allotment process.
