Process for Application of UGC NET 2023
The application form for UGC NET 2023 registration for the UGC NET Exam which will be held in the month of June will be out by the 2nd week of this month and the whole process will be online.

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2023
Foremost requirement is that the candidate must have a master’s degree or a equivalent degree from a recognized board.
The general candidates must have obtained 55% marks in their master’s degree and in under graduation.
For SC/ST/PWD/OBC/Third Gender candidates, the marks obtained in their master’s degree and in under graduation should be 50%.
Candidates who are awaiting their final results in master degree or candidates who have written their final examination can also apply for UGC NET 2023 examination.
For Junior Research Fellowship, the age limit is 31 years and for reserved candidates the age limit is extended to 36 years. For Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit.
Requirements to fill the UGC NET 2023 examination
The candidates who wishes to apply for UGC NET 2023 shall have an active mobile number and an email-id.
The candidates should have a scanned copy of mark sheets of class 10, class 12, Under Graduation and of their Master’s Degree.
Scanned passport size photograph whose size must range from 10 K.B. to 100KB and should have dimensions of 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
The candidates must also have a scanned photo of their signature done in white background whose size must range from 4 KB to 30 KB and should have dimensions of 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
If the candidates have opted for a category other than that of general than he should have the valid documents to establish that he belongs to that category.
At last the candidate must have banking fetails through which application fees is paid.
UGC NET 2023 Examination Syllabus
The papers are so designed so as to check different skills of the candidate.
Paper 1 if UGC NET Examination consists of tests teaching and reasoning ability, research aptitude, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper 2 of UGC NET Examination consists of subjects chosen by the candidates.
It tests the candidate’s in-depth knowledge and expertise in their respective subject.
UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern
UGC NET Exam will be done through online mode at the given examination centre through computer having pre installed software specifically developed for the examination.
UGC NET Examination consists of two papers of which paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates and the candidates need to opt for their subject of paper 2.
Paper 1 of UGC NET Exam consists of 50 questions and all of which are compulsory to attend.

Paper 2 consists of subjects that we have chosen. All total there will be 81 subjects of which we have to opt for.
There will be 100 questions of MCQ Type, therefore you will have to choose the appropriate option out of the 4 given options and all questions are compulsory.
Each question consists of 2 marks and there will be duration of 2 hours to complete the paper.

For every right answer you will get 2 marks for both paper 1 and paper 2 of UGC NET Examinations.
There is no negative marking scheme and therefore you must attempt every questions of both aper 1 and paper 2.

What is UGC NET Salary?
UGC NET Salary differs as per the post of UGC. For Assistant Professor, the salary range as per the pay scale is between Rs. 37,400 to Rs. 67,000.
For JFR, the salary scale is Rs. 31,000 each month for the first two years after which they will get a minimum salary of Rs. 35,000.
UGC NET Examination are to check the eligibility of candidates who are aspiring to become Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship.
The national level examination is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December.
This examination was at first conducted by CBSE which was taken over by National Test Agency.
